Edens Edge is one member shy of a trio. Lead singer Hannah Blaylock has left the group, and, it seems, much to the surprise of remaining members Dean Berner and Cherrill Green. The Edens Edge website said Hannah's exit was "on her own accord and with much disappointment" after they played their final show at the Grand Ole Opry on February 22nd.
The group had been together for nearly 10 years, but Edens Edge will carry on. Dean and Cherrill wrote, "We're literally living on the 'edge' right now, as we regroup, write, and the next chapter of our band is revealed. It's a crazy but exciting time, and we hope everyone will join us on the journey."
Edens Edge released their self-titled debut album on Big Machine Records in 2012, but it seems the act is no longer on the roster. Dean and Cherrill wrote that they're "forever grateful for the time spent inside the Big Machine family."
Hannah has not yet commented on the split.
Edens Edge charted a Top 20 in 2011 with "Amen."
