Bridger is the six-year-old boy from Cheyenne, Wyoming that had 90 stitches in his face and head after he stepped in the middle of an attacking dog and his little sister to save her. Now fictional heroes are taking the time to let him know he's a hero in real life.
Chris Evans, who played CaptianChris Evans, who played Captain America in the movies, is sending a real Captain America shield to Bridger.
In a video message sent to Bridger, Evans dons his best Cap' voice and told Bridger: "I read your story, I saw what you did. I'm sure you've heard a lot of this over the last couple of days but let me be the next one to tell you. Pal, you're a hero, what you did was so brave, so selfless — your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother. Your parents must be so proud of you."
Evans then told Bridger: "I'm going to track down your address and I'm going to send you an authentic Captain America shield because pal, you deserve it."
