Even after a year of isolation, some things never change . . .
A new survey found 43% of Americans wouldn't want their family to live close enough to just pop in whenever they want. That's actually 6% HIGHER than it was before the pandemic.
Two-thirds of us wish we lived closer to our family . . . just not TOO close. Here are five more quick stats . . .
1. 30% of us have thought about moving closer to family in the past year. The same surveytwo years ago found that SIBLINGS are the family member we'd most want to live close to.
2. Men are more likely to want some buffer between their parents or in-laws. 66% of men and 56% of women want to at least be a decent drive away from them.
3. Need a babysitter? 76% of people with young kids wish their family lived closer.
4. 61% of us say it's been "very difficult" to not see family in person during Covid.
5. And over 60% of us have canceled a trip to see family since the pandemic hit.
