The More You Think a Wine Costs...

You may THINK you've got a refined palate and you can detect all the different notes in a wine. But what you're REALLY detecting is how much it set you back.

A new study out of Switzerland found what deep down we already kinda knew: The more we think a wine costs, the better we think that wine tastes.

The researchers say, quote, "Deceptive up-pricing of low-price wine significantly influenced ratings for pleasantness . . . [so] subjective experience may lie in the price."
