Every weekday Shawn Patrick sheds some light on some good news with His Good Vibes Story. Here is today's...

A group of young men in central Florida are being praised for their kindness and compassion. The four men were seen in Seminole County pushing a woman on her broken down scooter in the pouring rain. Katty Castro, a representative at the Florida Living Independent Community saw the act of kindness. "Since this is a very quiet neighborhood I was surprised to hear a commotion, laughs and four gentlemen pushing one of my lady residents under a heavy storm," says Castro. "They were pushing her up the big slope toward her residence."

Castro says she thought they might be students from the local high school, but when she went to thank them, she learned they were just passing through the area after a long day of work. "[We] noticed the woman was clearly experiencing a malfunction with her mobile scooter," says JohnMorgan Massa, one of the good Samaritans. "We knew we couldn't leave her in the rain, in the middle of the road, frantically trying to get her scooter to work again."

According to Castro, Massa and his co-workers pushed the resident for three-quarters of a mile while she sat on her scooter, shielded from the rain by one of the young men holding an umbrella. "Those scooters are heavy,” says Castro. “Add the resident’s weight, her groceries and collapsing tires, the sum is a whole workout." But Massa and his colleagues didn’t hesitate. "We just wanted her to get home safely," he explains. "We never expected recognition."
