When the Broncos aren't playing in the Super Bowl priorities change a bit in Colorado. Instead of focusing on the game we tend to shift or sights on more important things like the commercials, the beer, and of course the wings! And we ate our fair share of the Super Bowl snack here in Northern Colorado this year.
The Coloradoan talked to a couple of the more popular wing spots in NoCo and found out that we might have actually eaten more than our fair share this year. Jim's Wings in Fort Collins said they served over four tons of wings this weekend. While the Wing Shack's five NoCo locations served more than 150,000 wings.
I'd imagine the heartburn medication sales were up in these parts as well...
