I was very fortunate to get to visit Nashville for the first time this last week. We were at an event called the Country Radio Seminar, where a bunch of us country radio people get together, learn about better ways to do things, listen to music, drink, meet new and familiar artists, and drink some more.
Getting to be in a room and talking to artists like Zac Brown, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Garth Brooks, and others was amazing. However, I came home really reflecting on the new artists I met and how bright the future of country music looks.
Artists like Craig Campbell, Frankie Ballard, Steve Moakler, Trent Harmon, Granger Smith, and others are going to be big stars and deserving so.
There were a couple of them that I can't get enough of though. They are a group called Midland and a young artist named Devin Dawson. You can get a sneak peek at both of them below...
I had a great trip, and I am excited to report that there is a ton of great talent in Nashville for those of us who love country music!!
