Your Colorado Drivers Licence May Say You're a Giant

In Colorado recently, thousands of 5'11" motorists grew 14 inches overnight--on their driver's licenses, anyway.

Due to a a screwup by the state's document production contractor, all individuals who are 71 inches tall (or 5'11") were sent renewed licenses that listed their heights as 7'1".

The state says it will keep using the contractor in question, Marquis ID Systems, despite the error, and will mail new IDs with accurate heights to the 12,000 drivers affected at no additional cost.
