Yoga Pants are Polluting Our Seas and Oceans

I am a 30-year-old guy, of course I love yoga pants. However, I am worried they may start disappearing because they are causing quite an issue...

A lot more plastic is washing ashore after floating in the ocean and contaminating seafood, and America’s infatuation with yoga is a chief culprit.

The AP reports that yoga pants, Patagonia jackets and other garments made from synthetic materials shed plastic fibers when laundered, which ultimately end up in wastewater systems before washing out to sea.

The impact of these materials on the sea is currently being studied by the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium.

Can't we figure out another way to make them or something?
