Over the last 18 seasons, the Tour de Fat has become one of Fort Collins' most iconic events. So much so that event has grown to other cities across the country. However, there will be a few major changes for the original Tour this summer.
The main change is for the first time ever, it'll cost you to be at the event. A $25 entry fee will benefit non-profits like Overland Mountain Bike Club, Bike Fort Collins, FC Bike Co Op and Ciclismo Youth Foundation.
They are also turning their attention to a lot more music. This year concerts will be held by The All-American Rejects and X Ambassadors.
Fort Collins will also be one of the only cities that will still feature the annual costumed bike parade.
This year's Fort Collins Tour de Fat is Sept. 2.
