Once a week or so, my hometown newspaper, the Greeley Tribune, puts together what they call their Cop Log. Basically they compile the weirdest stuff that the cops encounter over the last month or so in Greeley and Evans, and print it for the world to see. Today, it's the story of the man who kept getting messages from guys on Craigslist that wanted to hook-up.
Feb. 23, 2:30 p.m.: Police received a call from the 3600 block of 29th Street. The caller said someone posted a Craigslist ad linked somehow to him, and now he was receiving "all kinds of pictures from dudes trying to hook up."
This same thing happened to me a couple years back on April Fool's Day. One of my "friends" put an ad with my phone number on Craigslist looking to "hook-up" with other guys, and my phone go bombarded with some very interesting messages for about three days. Although, I did not ever call the cops.
