Carmelo Anthony will go down as one of the best players to ever suit up for the Denver Nuggets. Sure, the breakup was a pretty rough one, but nothing like the one happening in his personal life right now.
After reporting that the now New York Knicks star and his wife La La have separated, TMZ now claims that their split came about after Carmelo allegedly impregnated a stripper at a strip club.
Multiple sources say the woman claims to be six-and-a-half-months pregnant and expects Carmelo to help cover baby-related expenses.
But a source tells Page Six, “The stripper pregnancy rumor is not true.”
Page Six confirms, however, that Carmelo cheated on La La a lot. “Melo’s tagline was ‘She’s married, I’m not," a source says. "His attitude is that all professional athletes do it...La La...knew it was going on, but I guess this time she’s had enough.”
As for the couple's future, while no divorce papers have been filed, it's believed that there's zero chance of a reconciliation.
The Anthonys have been married since 2010 and share a 10-year-old son, Kiyan.
