Once a week or so, my hometown newspaper, the Greeley Tribune, puts together what they call their Cop Log. Basically they compile the weirdest stuff that the cops encounter over the last month or so in Greeley and Evans, and print it for the world to see. Today, it's the story of the man who did some meth, then called the cops to tell on himself for it a few days later.
March 3, 6:15 p.m.: Police received a call from the 2800 block of 10th Street. The caller wanted to "report himself for not reporting a crime." He said he smoked meth with friends three days ago and didn't realize it was illegal not to report.
Little does this guy know, it is also illegal to do meth, and probably a lot more likely to get you locked up than not reporting a crime... Just remember kids, drugs are bad!
