The Orange Drink at McDonald's, also known as Hi-C Orange Lavaburst, is a favorite to a lot of people, namely kids. My 6-year-old loves it, and Rodney Adkins even had a country song where his kid is drinking it. However, the popular drink is about to go bye-bye.
The rumors started with what is said to be a leaked memo posted to Reddit. It says the beverage will be phased out beginning May 1 when restaurants are to use up what they have, but won't be receiving new shipments.
A new Sprite TropicBerry drink will be added to McDonald's menu in July to replace the Orange Drink.
McDonald's has not formally announced the drink is leaving yet.
