Tom Brady Covers 'Madden', Insists There's No 'Madden' Curse

Today it was revealed that Tom Brady is on the cover of the video game Madden 18, and avid football fans are well aware of something called “the Madden curse” for past cover boys. Basically everyone who has been on the cover has been injured the next season.

I am not one to root for guys to get hurt, but if someone has to do it, I guess I choose Brady...

But in a Facebook video, Brady dismissed such a notion. “There’s no such things as curses,” a smiling Brady says, employing awful grammar. After shattering a mirror and walking under a ladder, he adds, “See? All good. No curse.”

But as GQ notes, “He's a pretty man who was born with insane, once-in-a-generation athletic talents and is married to a supermodel. Of course that guy doesn't believe in curses. But if there were even the slightest possibility that curses were real, then Brady has all but guaranteed that he is going to have one hell of a rocky year.”
