Two “women-only” screenings of ‘Wonder Woman‘ are scheduled this week in Denver and Littleton, and there are some guys who are not happy about it.
The events happening at the Alamo Drafthouse were explained on the business' website like this; “Apologies, gentlemen, but we’re embracing our girl power and saying ‘No Guys Allowed’ for one special night. The most iconic superheroine in comic book history finally has her own movie, and what better way to celebrate than with an all-female screening?”
Guys have trolled the business' social media accounts saying that the events are sexist, but I disagree. As these events have sold-out, I almost guarantee that a men-only screening would sell very few tickets as guys don't hang out with other guys at the movies.
So my advice to the whiners is to create your own event, and let us know how it turns out...
