Once a week or so, my hometown newspaper, the Greeley Tribune, puts together what they call their Cop Log. Basically they compile the weirdest stuff that the cops encounter over the last month or so in Greeley and Evans, and print it for the world to see. Today, it's the story of the neighbor who called the cops because they were being harassed for not paying for the drugs they did...
May 4th, 10:30 p.m.: Police received a call from the 2300 block of 10th Street Road. The caller "smoked a bowl of weed" with a neighbor. The neighbor was now harassing the caller about paying for the drug.
Reading this just made me realize that we live in a much different time than we did five years ago. Never would you think to tell the cops you just smoked pot back then, but these days it's no big deal... Welcome to Colorado in 2017!
