There is seemly a hall of fame for everything these days, so sometimes those words seem a bit watered down. However, the Colorado Music Hall of Fame is one of the big ones. One of those that artists dream of being in, and that will be proven with one of the biggest shows of the summer this August.
The Colorado Music Hall of Fame will host its next induction concert honoring Dan Fogelberg, Joe Walsh & Barnstorm and James William Guercio’s Caribou Ranch on Sunday, August 13, 6:30 p.m. at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre.
The event, “The Rocky Mountain Way,” features performances from Garth Brooks, Amy Grant & Vince Gill, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Richie Furay, Randy Owen of Alabama, Todd Park Mohr, Michael Martin Murphey and surprise guests paying tribute to the late Dan Fogelberg and Caribou Ranch, the legendary recording studio. The classic Colorado lineup of Barnstorm—Joe Walsh, Kenny Passarelli and Joe Vitale—reunites to perform, and famed music producer Bill Szymczyk receives a CMHOF Award of Excellence.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at AXS.com, beginning at 10 a.m.
