I have often wondered how a hot air balloon is steered and eventually landed where the pilot intends, but today I learned, that neither of those things happen sometimes.
A balloon bounced off the roof of Natural Grocers, 4318 S. College Ave., before landing in a tree-lined grass strip next to Troutman Parkway in Fort Collins this morning.
Luckily no one was injured in the incident.
