The New York Times is out with its selections for the 25 best movies of the 21st century, and I feel like I may have some catching up to do...
The list, which includes a healthy mix of American and foreign films, was chosen by Times critics A.O. Scott and Mahnola Dargis "with some help from cinema savants on Facebook" and is intended to highlight "the top 25 movies that are destined to be the classics of the future."
Here are the films that made the top 10:
- There Will Be Blood
- Spirited Away (Japan)
- Million Dollar Baby
- A Touch of Sin (China)
- The Death of Mr. Lazarescu (Romania)
- Yi Yi (Taiwan)
- Inside Out
- Summer Hours (France)
- The Hurt Locker
I haven't seen one of these... Guess I need to brush up on my movie watching this weekend!
