Still, millions of people believed the fake article posted on a prank news site, Channel45News.com., that stated "The CEO of Whataburger Preston Atkinson announced earlier this month that they will be closing the doors at all their restaurants as of February 2018."
Whataburger posted on Facebook and Twitter that the article is a hoax and they're here to stay.
Why people get a thrill out of posting fake news, I'll never know. I also don't understand why we still don't have any Whataburgers in Colorado...
