Not that you (or I) have really ever lost sleep wondering what our state would look like as a shoe, but just in case, the folks at Adidas have come up with a shoe that represents every state.
If Georgia were an Adidas sneaker, what would it look like? A peach, naturally. Wisconsin has cheese, and so on. In Colorado, you'd expect mountains, right?
WRONG!! You get blue lines. The artist, Carrie Chan says of the Colorado shoes,"I looked to the state gems and stones for inspiration, which is aquamarine for Colorado."
Business Insider reports that all proceeds from the state shoes will benefit Women Win, a charity devoted to advancing women’s leadership. Furthermore, every single shoe was designed by a female artist.
