The Best Places to See the Solar Eclipse in Colorado

August 21st is a big day. That is the day of the first total solar eclipse in a long time. Sadly, you won't be able to see the total eclipse in Colorado, but you can get close. 

The closest place to go see the full thing is in Wyoming, and most of those towns expect to be overfull. 

So stay in Colorado and go to one of these towns.

Boulder — 93.1 percent

Denver — 92.3 percent 

Limon — 91.7 percent

Arapahoe — 91.6 percent

Marshall — 91.1 percent

Rangley — 90.7 percent

Leadville — 89.4 percent
