What's Colorado's Most Unusually Popular Summer Travel Spot?

New York Times did a study of Facebook check-in data analyzing where Americans go when they travel abroad during the summer vacation season and found the "most unusually popular travel spot in each state."

Colorado's really doesn't seem to unusual at all to me... Germany. We have good beer, they have good beer, seems like a match made in heaven, actually.

Here are several more unusual findings from the study (check the link for more):

  • Nevada and Alaska: The Philippines
  • Nebraska: Guatemala
  • Utah: Tonga
  • Wyoming: Thailand
  • South Carolina: The Bahamas
  • Louisiana: Honduras
  • Wisconsin: Ireland
  • Indiana: Macedonia
  • Illinois: Poland
  • West Virginia: Britain
