First off, I had no ideas there was such a thing as vegan boots, and second, I had no idea that Doc Martins still existed, but both are true. I know that because vegan Dr. Martens boots are being recalled because of a chemical exposure hazard.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, prolonged and direct contact to the lining of the boot’s tongue could expose people to benzidine.
Never have my leather boots exposed me to wired chemicals. Makes ya wonder what's in that vegan tofu steak too, doesn't it!
