It seems like everything you could ever imagine took place last weekend for Labor Day, but now there is nothing to do this coming weekend... That is expect for a big alpaca festival!
It's called the Pacabuddies Alpaca Event and Fiber Arts Festival and it takes place at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock.
According to an ad it's all free and here is what to expect:
September 9 & 10, from 10:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Visit our vendors for beautiful fleece goods, yarn, roving, children's books and much more. Do a little early holiday shopping in our Grand Emporium & numerous independent craft booths.
Grab the opportunity to see & touch alpacas, meet local farms, hone fiber skills & learn about raising alpacas. FREE educational seminars & fiber demonstrations. Come learn from the best!!!
Cody, The Teeny Tiny Alpaca will be there in person signing her brand new children's book!!
That right there may be worth the price of admission, seeing an alpaca sign books!
