Today is Colorado's First-Ever 'First Responder Appreciation Day'

It has become customary in our country to complain, and sadly many people have given those who spend their lives protecting our communities a bad name. Today is all about making sure people know our first responders are actually amazing people!

Back in April a bill was signed in Colorado's 2017 legislative session, making Sept. 27 officially "First Responder Appreciation Day" in our state.

Many other states have also adopted today to honor and recognize the significant sacrifices, achievements, and dangers each and every first responder faces every day.

Be sure to thank a first responder next time you see one!
