Once a week or so, my hometown newspaper, the Greeley Tribune, puts together what they call their Cop Log. Basically they compile the weirdest stuff that the cops encounter over the last month or so in Greeley and Evans, and print it for the world to see. Today, it's the story of the 'large pink pig' that got loose and into someone's yard who really doesn't appreciate it...
"Nov. 6th, 3:45 p.m.: Police received a call from the 1700 block of 36th Avenue Court. The caller reported a "large pink pig" wandering through a neighbor's yard. The caller was concerned because, she said, her neighbor was "due home at any time now and he's going to be livid." The neighbor was, in fact, "not happy to find out pot belly pigs are pets," even after the pig was returned home."
I don't know what boggles my mind more, the fact that this guy would be so angry about something like this, or the fact that people really keep big pigs as pets...
