My boss nominated a few of us at the radio station to be the next voice of the train at Denver International Airport. Sadly, they only liked the Denver folks, and today they announced longtime sports announcer, Alan Roach and 9News anchor, Kim Christiansen would be the voices, and not us.
But, I have an idea... We have an airport right across the street from the radio station here in Loveland, officially called the "Northern Colorado Regional Airport." Sure, they don't have trains, and very few commercial flights these days, but I am sure they have some sort of speaker system to make announcements, right?
Throw a dog a bone, and make me feel a little better about myself, would ya? I mean, I grew up in NoCo, I still work here, and I work for cheap...
Can someone hook me up with the decision maker there? HAHA!
