Colorado State hired Niko Medved as the next head coach of its men's basketball team, the team announced Thursday.
Medved was the head coach of Drake last season after spending the previous four years with Furman. His Bulldogs just played in the CIT postseason tournament and were knocked out by the Northern Colorado Bears in Greeley.
Medved also spent six seasons as an assistant coach at Colorado State under Tim Miles.
Medved will replace Larry Eustachy, who stepped down in February after six seasons with Colorado State.
