John Elway either has a crutch, or he is really bad at finding people who are "perfect fit" for the Denver Broncos. Broncos' fans will hope it is the former.
As he introduced Joe Flacco as the team's new QB today he described him as the "perfect fit," but as the good folks at BroBible point out, he has done that a bunch of other times too... And those people ended up being the opposite of the saying.
While talking about bring the likes of Case Keenum, Vance Joseph, Paxton Lynch, C.J. Anderson, Gary Kubiak, Brock Osweiler, John Fox, and TIm Tebow, Elway also used the term "perfect fit" at one point or another.
Notice a name not on that list, Peyton Manning, who may be Elway's best signing...
Maybe he should drop that from his vocabulary!
