Colorado is full of quirky festivals, but the one in Denver this weekend is something I had never heard of before today.
I guess I didn't know alpacas were popular enough to have their own festival, but apparently they are!
The National Alpaca Show is at the National Western Complex in Denver tonight (March 15th) and tomorrow (March 16th).
According to TheDenverChannel;
Love alpacas? Want to see the best in alpaca fashion and also take a selfie with one? You’re in luck because this weekend, hundreds of alpacas will come to Denver for the 2019 National Alpaca Show. Did we mention that there will be an alpaca selfie booth?
Where: National Western Complex, 4655 Humboldt St. in Denver
When: Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon.
Best of all, the event is FREE!
