Kevin Costner's 'Yellowstone' Has Colorado Ties Thanks to the Hats He Wears

Many folks around the world are pumped for the premiere of Season Two of the Paramount Network show "Yellowstone" tonight (June 19th). But did you know the show has Colorado ties?

The hats Kevin Costner wears in the show were made in Greeley, Colorado, at the world famous Greeley Hat Works. According to the Greeley Tribune;

"Actor Jeremy Renner wore a Greeley Hat Works hat in 2017’s “Wind River” after screenwriter Taylor Sheridan reached out to the shop's owner, Trent Johnson, and asked him to make a hat specifically for Renner’s character. That connection led to another opportunity when Sheridan asked Johnson to create hats for actor Kevin Costner in the Paramount Network series “Yellowstone.” Costner’s character wore three cowboy hats made by Greeley Hat Works: a buckskin that was distressed to make it look worn, a chocolate brown and a black one."

The second season of Paramount Network’s hit drama returns to the ranch on tonight at 10/9c.
