The Air Force is hinting it's ready to battle American civilians, should they follow through with a plan to raid Area 51 in an attempt to find out the truth about alien life forms.
"Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us" is an event set for September 20 in Amargosa Valley, Nevada, where the highly classified remote detachment of Edwards Air Force Base is located. “We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry,” the event description reads. “If we 'naruto run,' we can move faster than their bullets. Let's see them aliens.” (Deadline notes that "naruto run" refers to "the unique running style of the protagonist Naruto Uzumaki in the Japanese anime series Naruto...sprinting with his hands behind him to decrease wind resistance.")
Meanwhile, Air Force spokeswoman Laura McAndrews told The Washington Post on Friday, "We would discourage anyone from trying to come into the area where we train American armed forces. The U.S. Air Force always stands ready to protect America and its assets.”
