Most toys are made for kids, but Lego is once again proving to be the exception with a new set they’re making. The iconic building-block company has announced it’s coming out with a “Friends”-inspired collection and fans of all ages are pretty excited.
Lego teased with a sneak-peek of the new bricks based on the sitcom in a short video on Twitter. In the clip, we see Lego figurines of Phoebe, Ross, Chandler, Monica, Rachel, and Joey sitting on the famous orange couch in front of the fountain, a scene fans recognize from the show’s opening song. The toy maker captioned the video, “The one with Lego bricks. Coming soon.”
The news comes out as the beloved show celebrates its 25th anniversary. “Friends” premiered on September 22nd, 1994. No other details about the collection are available yet, but let’s hope it includes Monica’s apartment and Central Perk, too.
