My PSA for the day... You can get a DUI on one of those e-scooters, so don't ride them as an alternative to driving!
I am not exactly sure of the story, because I was not there, but this story going something like this;
A guy is hanging out in Denver, has too much to drink and doesn't want to drive home drunk. So instead he gets one of those e-scooters to ride home. In a stroke of bad luck, drunk guy crashes his scooter into a Denver cop, and is busted for DUI anyway...
The Denver Police Department said on Twitter that the incident happened near 21st and Market Streets by Coors Field.
