There are a handful of moments in history we all remember like yesterday. The exact place you were and what you were doing when they happened... For many in Colorado, one of those moments was the Balloon Boy saga.
Today marks ten years since we all gathered around our TVs to watch in awe and in horror thinking their was a six-year-old boy inside the saucer-shaped balloon that was flying high in the Colorado sky.
Once the balloon landed we all found out that there was no boy inside, and instead he was hiding in the families attic in Fort Collins. It was all an elaborate hoax the parents came up with to gain attention in hopes of getting their own TV show.
Still, most of us will always remember what we were doing on October 15, 2009. One of the oddest days in Colorado history!
