Loveland has recently opened a new downtown parking garage, providing over 300 free parking spaces for visitors as well as residents of the Patina Flats apartment complex located at the Foundry. According to a news release by the City of Loveland, new regulations will be enforced, beginning Feb. 1, in order to maintain safety.
Here's what you need to know to avoid a fine or citation:
- Speed limit is 5 mph.
- Violations may result in a citation or towing.
- Pedestrians have the right-of-way.
- Parking from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. is prohibited, unless the space is designated for overnight parking.
- No trailer parking.
- No skateboarding, roller-skating or rollerblading in the garage.
- No sleeping in a motor vehicle, common areas, stairways or elevators at any time.
- No repair work on parked vehicles.
- Abandoned vehicles will be towed from the garage.
