A resident in Rose Hill, Kansas had an unwelcome guest in their couch.
A 6-foot boa constrictor was found inside the furniture.
The apartment resident had been living there for four years and had never owned a snake. After the 911 call, police and fire crews came to retrieve the reptile.
Authorities are asking anyone who might be missing a snake to contact them.
