Forget about chocolate, flowers and engagement rings: Coors Light wants people to celebrate Valentine's Day by giving themselves the gift of a new dog.
To this end, CNN reports that the beer giant is offering to cover up to $100 in adoption fees for the first 1,000 participants who adopt a dog by February 21. (Unfortunately, the offer isn't available to residents of California, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia or West Virginia.)
"With almost half of millennials planning to stay in on Valentine's Day, we wanted to help empower people to savor the day with Coors Light and a dog by their side," Chelsea Parker, marketing manager at Molson Coors, said in the press release.
