Here's a perfect story for Flashback Friday...

Rolling Stone magazine reminds us of the dawn of the 1960s, when Johnny Cash was a huge Country Western star and Kirk Douglas made a little movie called Spartacus.

In 1971, the two stars crossed path on film in a movie called A Gunfight. By this time, Douglas has a film icon and Cash was a singing icon with his own weekly TV show - The Johnny Cash Show. Johnny had Kirk on his show on February 4, 1970 - fifty years ago this week - to talk about the movie they were going to make in Spain that summer.

"I’m glad to be here and find out Nashville, Tennessee, is real and Johnny Cash is for real,” Douglas says. The two went on to sing a little "Walk the Line" and Kirk even imitated a train whistle. The video is definitely worth watching...
