Wait Until Feb. 15th to Celebrate Valentines Day, It'll Be A Lot Cheaper

This might be a tough sell to your significant other, but maybe the SMART way to celebrate Valentine's Day is . . . punting, and doing it the next day.

There's a column on Fox News right now that's recommending you wait until February 15th to celebrate Valentine's Day to save money.

The reasons . . .

1. Restaurants usually jack up their prices on Valentine's Day itself and offer overpriced prix fixe menus. The next night, the prices go back to normal.

2. All the other Valentine's stuff like flowers, chocolates, and gifts immediately go on sale after the holiday, so you can pick them up for a discount on the 15th.

And that's really it. Cheaper restaurants, cheaper stuff. You just have to wait until Saturday to celebrate.
