Researchers in Germany found that eating a big breakfast could help you burn double the number of calories. Whereas, eating a small breakfast can boost your appetite and leave you craving for sweets.

The metabolism process is called diet-induced thermogenesis (DIT), which is the number of calories the body expends to heat the body and digest the food.
