Joe Diffie's Neighbors Have a Tractor Parade in His Honor

One day after Grammy-Award winning country singer Joe Diffie passed away from the coronavirus at the age of 61, his neighbors found a safe way to get together and pay him tribute.

Whiskey Riff reports that on Monday, folks in Nolensville, Tennessee, held a parade for Diffie, complete with tractors, police cruisers, trucks, and some of his timeless tunes--all enjoyed while maintaining a healthy social distance.

"[A] song comes on the radio and you just know all the words by heart," Nolensville resident Mick Hill told a local news outlet from the seat of his John Deere. "And it’s just part of you, part of life." Family friend Lisa Garromney added about his passing, "Shock, I think, possibly would be the best way to describe that...Joe was he was just a regular guy. And he never made you feel like you were hanging out with a country music star."
