This Summer's Greeley Stampede is Postponed

I grew up in Greeley, Colorado, so there is nothing I looked forward to more, and continue to get excited about to this day, more than the Greeley Stampede. So it is with great sadness I tell you that this summer's Greeley Stampede is postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Stampede said this in part of a press release:

As difficult as it is to make the decision to postpone the event, it is with the best intentions as we seek to protect the health and safety of our guests, volunteers and staff.
Due to the unfortunate need to postpone the event, the Greeley Stampede will be offering refunds to ticket holders or a credit for 2021 events. Information on how to claim a refund or a credit will be available soon. We will post updates and contact ticket holders on the refund process when available. Please send questions to
We cannot thank our community, sponsors and supporters enough for their understanding and cooperation.

As brokenhearted as we are, we are currently working with the Stampede on some neat ideas to bring you some of the entertainment you expect from the event, in a different fashion this summer. Stay tuned to Big 97.9 for details coming soon.
