Finally, Colorado Campgrounds Will Open This Week

I'm very rarely vocal when it comes to politics, but I did get on my soapbox a lot lately when it came to Colorado's ban on camping. In a nutshell, I just didn't think it was right to ban camping when you could go hangout with hundreds at a local store. Seemed counterintuitive to me...

Well, finally the state, and governor, heard me and a bunch of others kicking and screaming about this and opened up camping at Colorado's state parks starting tomorrow (May 12th, 2020), with the exception of local rules that may still be in place to limit access at specific locations.

The U.S. Forest Service will announce their plan for their own campgrounds moving forward within weeks, though dispersed camping remains open at these spots.
