Concerts, festivals, and large events in Colorado have been cancelled all the way through Labor Day weekend already (Seven Peaks), so it didn't seem possible that there would be anything like that this summer. However, just across the Colorado-Wyoming border in Cheyenne, there has been no word on a cancellation for their 124th celebration this July. But we will likely get a better picture of if the event can happen later today...
According to a Facebook post on Wyoming PBS, "Governor Mark Gordon will hold a media briefing at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 27 at the State Capitol Building. The Governor will be joined by State Health Officer Dr. Alexia Harrist to provide an update on Wyoming’s ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He will also discuss the status of large events in Wyoming this summer. The briefing will be live streamed on WyomingPBS, YouTube and on Facebook."
Crossing all fingers and toes for some good news!!
