There are people who study things like finding cures for cancer, and then there are people who study things like what's good for your dating profile picture... A Colorado State University study recently dug into the latter.
According to the recent CSU study, women are less likely to swipe right--or say yes--to a guy pictured with a cat on his dating profile.
"Men holding cats were viewed as less masculine; more neurotic, agreeable, and open; and less dateable," the authors wrote. "American culture has distinguished 'cat men' as less masculine, perhaps creating a cultural preference for 'dog men' among most heterosexual women in the studied age group."
