Colorado Resident Dean Dillon Picked for the Country Music Hall of Fame

Colorado is now home to a new Country Music Hall of Famer! Dean Dillon is one of three named as the 2020 class of inductees to the Country Music Hall of Fame along with Hank Williams Jr., Marty Stuart.

George Strait has recorded more than 70 songs written by Dillon, he's the man behind Chris Stapleton's smash cover of the George Jones song "Tennessee Whiskey, he's also written hits for David Allen Coe and Toby Keith to name a few.

Dean is originally from Tennessee, but fell in love with Colorado when he went on his first skiing trip early in life. He eventually moved to the state, calling a ranch in Gunnison home for many years now.
