Here's When the Leaves Will Change Colors For Fall in Colorado 2020

Colorado tradition says that you MUST go to the mountains to see the leaves change colors at least once every fall. So, get your Pumpkin Spice Latte ready, because it's coming quick!

According to Dan West, the state forest entomologist for the Colorado State Forest Service, we can expect the northern mountains to go through the change from Sept. 16 to Sept. 28. He expects the central mountains to undergo their transformation the last week of September through around Oct. 4, with the southern mountains getting their turn the first two weeks of October.

Of course a lot of factors, including temperature and precipitation, can change these dates, however, they should be pretty close
